You have to keep your ears peeled for that one, not many, maybe a few will a small group of friends, but no big ones.

 

Come to the Monkeypig gateway race and meet some people!  There is usually stuff on at Noosa.

You have to be willing to travel!

 

Also, look up 'sunshine state speedboarding', you will probably get more info about stuff there.
