Brisbane spots

Hi I have been skating for about 6 months and am starting to get into downhill. I was just wondering whether you knew any nice hills for D/H and sliding in Balmoral, Hawthorne, Bulimba etc.

Also is there any good carparks in these areas

wow, you must live really close to me, i live on riding road just behind the TSG. Theres a carpark on lytton road, but its a bretheren church and is privately owned so the guy doesnt like us skating on it, but you can risk it. Theres the g5 parkway under the gateway thats pretty good to learn on. Theres some nice roads on the backside of balmoral hill, and a few runs just up in morningside, but aren't good until night time. There aren't really any specific 'runs' as such but just go hiking up balmoral hill and find your own.

I have done the g5 a few times and it's quite fun but not fast enough. I live on Victoria street right next to the school. I found a short run at apex street but that is basically the only descent length run.

Also where is this carpark of the church. I'm only 13 so surely i cant get in that much trouble.

It's called the Bretho its a spot no one hits anymore, its fast and smooth and good to practice on. If u follow lytton road exit on the round about at oxford street, lytton road goes uphill a bit then downhill to a T junction keep going round lytton road off to the right and there's a green fence along it which u can jump over and walk to the top of it, there's like an electrical tower opposite and shit, its like a 2 minute skate from oxford street. Hopefully that isn't too complicated. Make sure not to leave any rubbish lying around and it should be sweet
