today is a great day, it seemed it would never come.
today, ladies & gents, the kids go BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

oh yes, today, i can eat brekkie in peace at my local cafe.
today i can hit the surf without needing a helmet & elbow pads.
today i can go on night skates without drunk kids roaming the streets.
between 9-3 i can hit the surf, streets & skatepark in PEACE!
...the list goes on, u get the idea.

don't get me wrong, there's a handfull of groms that are staunch , stand-up guys/girls.
these guys are a credit to themselves & whoever raised them...i thank decent parents 100x.

i woke this morning w' a bounce in my step & smile on my face.
i'm not as miserable as i portray, it's all a bit tongue-in-cheek...i loves u all n' shit like that.
but, i really am much happier the groms are back learning how to be human beings.

Where I live, the skate park is still full of them. They don't go to school... rather smoke pot and ride scooters!

Things are only getting worse in this backwards ass country. I live in Vic and its now illegal to buy any paraphernalia inc pipes, bongs, other handy bits and pieces, because the government knows that ripping lipton ice tea bottles is healthier than glass. Also it's saddening to see that there is never any debate on drug law reform apart from the odd suss 60 minutes story. The only news you hear about it is when they make huge busts and kids overseas getting pwned for overly petty amounts of it.
Back on topic, I too am enjoying the peace and quiet.
