ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

I'd like to fill everyone in on what exposure the "Beat the Bastard" event will be having. Before I do, I'd like to thank everyone who has supported this exposure package and thank those who are actively taking part....extremely gratefull.
A 35 to 40 minute dvd is being filmed, with Steve Daddow and Jackson Shapiera doing the riders perspective filming and Anton Fricker doing the rest of the filming. This is going to be a "put a face to our sport" style dvd, with prominant members of the Gravity Community being interviewed, as well as hot footage of the riding and a general overview of who, and what, we are.
Concrete Wave is going to do a three to four page story with pics, and a photographer and journo will be there for the whole event.
Concrete Wave will take 15 minutes of the dvd footage and put it onto their next "Evolutions"dvd, burn 15,000 copies and send them out with their next available mag edition. They will also put it online, and are expecting 40,000 hits.
Two "online Extreme Sports" mags will also be running stories on the event.
Concrete Wave have really got behind this event, and their willingness and generousity to get involved will certainly put the Australian riders out to the rest of the World.
Local media will also be attending at various times over the weekend.

That's good stuff. Concrete Wave love putting Australian content in the mag, and Boomer (CW's oz rep) is the man that makes that all possible.

And I reckon the local media will love this event. Why not? It's sensational stuff!
