Ok Katz an Kiddies here is the thing we have been told we can offer our services with the following being noted:

"not too sure if crew will want your services at BtB as it is a freeride not a race and has a really laid back friendly atmosphere. If you want to ask the riders that is fine with us, but we don't want to see anyone touting for business on the hill and spoiling the atmosphere. The only racing over the weekend will be on Sunday morning with the SGS round of the CHC.

Soooooooo, this is what we can offer:

2 therapists to provide; treatments Friday afternoon/night, early Saturday morning through to Saturday evening, all day Sunday.
To fit in with the advice above we would not cater for any first aid or injuries for anyone not signed in with us, leaving that to the event first aiders, so there will also be no pay on the day treatments as we had at Newtons.

Treatments include:

pre and post event massages as well as any massage treatments deemed fit through the day
strapping, icing and treatment of all sports injuries that fall beneath Sports Medicine Australia Sports Trainer umbrella (all those that are more serious will be directed to the event first aiders/ambos)
Pre event stretch and flexibility packs are available by request

For BtB riders the fee is $60 ($55 for previous clients) (for anyone also racing in the CHC this is inclusive)

For the CHC only $25 (treatments from Saturday evening through to Sunday evening)

This service will be dependent on take up, as with Newtons we are prepared to take a loss but minimal; to this end we are asking for SERIOUS expressions of interest from those who wish to use our services.

If you could make it known on this forum and we will announce if we are able to make driving a full clinic from the Goldy to Mt Stuart a reality on the 29/01/10

im down. muscles are gonna be hurting after a long day's riding, and if an extra $55 keep me riding harder and longer then fo sho!

hell yeah im in aswell..i remember last year we were all sore and trashed from getting so many runs and it was only lunch time..get in while you can guys this will be worth it..

Ok,

what I said was that we didn't want people "touting" for business in other words going around asking people if they want treatment. We have no issues with crew approaching you for treatment on the hill, that is not an issue we just don't want to see people being asked if they want a massage, etc.

Just trying to clarify.

Kind of yes, if we can get this off the ground we will position ourselves as central as we can to everyone on the Friday so we are accessible to as many people as possible. As for actually making visits that would be possible if there were groups scattered around rather than odd one and twos here and there.
we wouldn't want everybody travelling miles for pre event treatments and so this is something we have planned for.
