i just find putting my knee against the bottom of my front leg really straining on my calf, i wouldn't say it hurts but it is extremely uncomfortable. i practice my new tuck multiple times a day at 50'ish and it is getting easier to hold for longer.

i was having the same problem, it's hard to explain, easier if i just show you... i think it's basically just putting more weight on your front foot/leg, that back part is just for a bit of extra stability, you shouldn't have that much weight back there that it's hurting anything... try doing a tuck just balancing on your front leg with you back leg off the ground and you'll see what i mean.
