Myself, jasper marshall, chris hardy, and james hunt were all skating eagle on the hill a hill which most on here would have heard off, we get pulled over by a police officer and here is the story...

If one of the guys involved puts together a letter to the police/council, then sends it to everyone on asra, with an email or emails to send it to, we can start sending waves of them, then every week that there is no change, send an email with your first one attached asking if it has been processed. Took me 5 emails and 3 months to get a response from my council, but you eventually get one. It's the only way to change things right now

I think this case could be important. 55 year old man looking after his kids at the safest (in terms of traffic) spot in Adelaide.
I applaud your dad,.... he will make these cops very uncomfortable when it goes to court.
Yeah get a petition together. Im signing it, and I want to help hammer the message home here in SA.
We already new the Sturt cops were over-zelous on skaters. Were gonna have to voice our disagreement with their charges.
They are making shit up. Enforcing their own biases against members of the public.
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO SKATEBOARD ON THE ROAD.
The fact that you chose a divided road with an island instead of a no line marked road just means you have considered your safety as well as the safety of others. You have done the opposite of reckless endangerment,.... you picked a spot where it couldn't happen. Plus you had a concerned motorist protecting you from the vigilante public. Your Dad. The legend!!
These cops are wasting the courts time and tax payers money.
@ the cops.....Fix the violence you idiots. Nobody cares about you arresting skateboarders, its your own weakass predjudice that makes you think its something wrong when there isn't. Fix the problems that are crimes against people,... not BS traffic laws. You arrest people over a traffic violation? You've lost the plot and you are potentially smearing the lives of good, clean living people who just want a chance to have fun.
This is AUSTRALIA. Surf skate capital of the world.

Cheers guys, and yeah i don't know how they are going to charge dad let alone really charge us for what they are saying, this is going to be a long process so in this time i want to talk to everyone and get something together, matty, sean, and anyone else who wants to contribute no matter where you are from i want to stick it so that we can do what everyone on this site loves... legally!

One thing that i would like to know is if you guys were cutting corners?
Cops over your way seem to try and pick apart everything possible to make you look bad, would be a good idea to keep in your lanes when filming (not saying you did or didn't). that way, when they start to review the footage to build a case of 'due care' they have nothing and you can even use that video as evidence in your favour!
And matty, i'm with you, petition, e-mail, protest... Anything and everything. Get every skater to the court on the court date and voice your opinion for all to hear out the front.
Sick of this 'don't do that, you may hurt yourself' babying by the government and police mentality. If someone wants to ride a bike at 80km/h wearing only a helmet and lycra (tour de france) they are regarded as an amazing athlete, but when someone is on a skateboard with a helmet and gloves, sometimes knee and elbow pads or leathers, they are lunatics. If a biker wants to ride on the highway in shorts and t-shirt, yeah, go on, but if you are training to be a professional downhill skateboarder, no, you go to court for it... Get your brains functioning... Stop being a burden on society and start serving the people and not yourselves. To the select few police officers that do their job properly, good on you, but for those who don't, quit and make the world a better place
