rough schedule now up.

you will get about 1 hour of practice, of course the earlier you get there the more runs you'll get.

we'll have 101 heats / races to get through after qualifying, so if everyone can be there on time and ready to start rolling at 9:45.

I'm just curious, but how much practice time do we have?

Each group of 16 will be seeded to be a similar standard. It won't make sense to mess up your qualifier in order to get into a weak group because the groups will all be the same standard.

Top 4 from each group will go into quarter finals and top 2 from those races into semis then a 4 man final.

Top 4 Opens, Groms and Girls in each group?
Doesnt seem to work out... if 'bob' does 'badly' in his time trial and is mixed with a group of 15 other groms and beats them all in all 4-5 heats 'bob' will come out wih the greatest outcome and will move straight on to quater finals where he will most likly lose a position in the QF for a serious skater.

Where as 'steve' aged 15 qualifies and races with a group of experienced rider even though his is very experienced in his own age group and looses every heat in his group resulting in a poor point tally for his group.

Just a little confused,

Excellent.

What time do you want me there.

And do you want me to bring anything.

awesome BJ, only half the BMB crew will be there due to work commitments, so we'll need all the hands we can get.

We were there yesterday and it was blistering hot, so bring PLENTY of water, sunscreen, and shade.

Also if we can ask people where possible to carpool. due to the large number of competitors and limited car spaces.

Thanks BJ, there'll be plenty to do on the day, and the groms will have a blast. The Pumpy is just a nice place to hang out too, although you need to bring food and water.

I am thinking of coming and lending a hand. Maybe with some groms that can watch. None of them have a full face helmet and some don't have knee pads, and aren't likely to by then due to money. But I am sure thay would be stoked to come. I am offering any help I can give. Cheers.
