Event Description

The ninth IGSA World Championships will be held in Teutonia Brazil November 4-6, 2011. It will mark the first time that the IGSA World Championships are being held in South America. This course is the fastest on the circut. The speeds at Teutonia are so great, that the hill cannot be run safely in the rain. Kevin Reimer set the course Speed Record in 2010 at 116.13 km/h (72.16 mph). Walter Ribeiro went even quicker on his Street Luge posting a speed of 133.82 km/h (83.15 mph).
