Event Description

The fully sanctioned race track, situated just outside of the Kaikoura township in southern New Zealand is a perfect location. With scenic views over the beautiful east coast, the track winds down one kilometer of smooth pathment allowing riders in packs of four to navigate down six corners at speeds of up to 80km/h; Creating New Zealand's premier Downhill Skateboarding Event.

The 2017 Kaikoura Longboard Festival will be held on the 21st and 22nd of January 2017 offering managed runs and epic free ride time on the hill.

We can offer transport to and from the event for overseas competitors, and event accommodation is also organised (at riders cost).
