ASRA and Shredemite are proud to announce the return of the Grom Bomb!
Come and experience downhill skateboard racing on a closed road. This event is for both new and experienced riders in a safe and friendly environment.
The categories will include both under 18s and under 21s to bring more people to the hill, but also for the newcomers to get a sample of some tight racing and learn from some of Australia's best. Standard safety gear requirements include helmet and gloves, but leathers are always strongly recommended.
The event is free for all to enter, but bring a few gold coins for a BBQ that will be held on the hill running all day. Water will be provided but it will be limited, so try to remember to bring your own as well. There are no toilets nearby so come prepared with a bit of bog-roll just in case.
Racing will start at 9am, so try to get there before then to take some practice runs and get settled. Please do not skate down the steep side after your runs as it will be a huge risk of a head-on collision. For the sake of your own and everybody's safety, please avoid the steep side for the whole day.
