Event Description

We are bringing back the original 'Grom-Bomb' event, but seeing as there are so many grom shredders these days we need to let some of the newbies pick up the pace. It will be at the same place we had the Grom Bomb Splashdown (click link for write-up/video).

This is a race for all the new-comers and beginners to downhill skateboarding that are looking at getting into events but want to start out easy. The race will be on a mellow bike path with smooth pavement, very mellow grade and speeds of around 40-50km/h. There is a run-out at the bottom however there is one right hand corner that you will need to slow down for, but it is a very mellow turn.

But this is going to be in the dry, jacko said he would postpone it if its wet
Comment by Will Smith on July 9, 2012 at 10:54

Well not in the wet like the last 2 have been

Depends I like grippy wheels on this course if you pick a good line and have your trucks loose enough you can mae the turn very well
Comment by Will Smith on July 8, 2012 at 21:53

Purple stims would be fine. I prefer a slide wheel on this track (purple stims are slide wheels) because even with a grippy wheel you still can't grip the corner without slowing down.

would some orangatang purple stims go any good on this track never riden it before but i think im going to race

would more slide wheels be better or should i go with grip ?
