Event Description

We are bringing back the original 'Grom-Bomb' event, but seeing as there are so many grom shredders these days we need to let some of the newbies pick up the pace. It will be at the same place we had the Grom Bomb Splashdown (click link for write-up/video).

This is a race for all the new-comers and beginners to downhill skateboarding that are looking at getting into events but want to start out easy. The race will be on a mellow bike path with smooth pavement, very mellow grade and speeds of around 40-50km/h. There is a run-out at the bottom however there is one right hand corner that you will need to slow down for, but it is a very mellow turn.

I can't go in the rain because my parents say its dangerous and ill catch a cold, which I agree on but yeah I don't want to buy new bearings either. Just put me off the list if it rains tomorrow, not now just incase it doesn't rain. Thanks :l

Summary: Min 13; Max 18; Rain.

Cloudy. Rain periods, possibly heavy at times. Winds southerly and light increasing to 15 to 20 km/h during the day then becoming light during the afternoon.
