The Hopshop is moving to a better and more MONDO location (5 x the size & only 2 doors up the road).
To launch the the new shop along with the Heelside Sydney office a big day of raddness has been planned.
To start the day Heelside has organised a grom friendly cannon ball run, from Lane Cove to the new Hopshop. 5 - 6km, 95% on a bike path, 80% of it downhill. Meeting at the Corner of Epping Rd and Kimberly Ave (on the cycle path) - 8am race start.... sharp! Free entry - come just for a push if you don't want to race.
1st Place Grom & 1st placed Girl will win the right to be first into the new shop (OPENS 10am). How is that a prize you ask?
Well.... the winners will be able to get first dibs on a limited amount of ridiculously priced items. Those that Place 1-20 will get a 20% off voucher to use in the HopShop on opening day.

Holy shit ! got a sneak peek of the new store today !!!! its friggin mental.
If i was a bit younger id be dropping my slide gloves on the ground and bashin my way to be first into the store ! Gloves off groms! Gloves off!
Good luck Hopshop on the new place hope the weather holds out
Lol can you hold onto a pedestrian biking? just curious
Lachie, I don't recall reading that 'everything will be 20% off'.
Zeb, sale items are open to everyone, but the racers get better places in the line, and so chances of getting a saled item is much slimmer.
I've learned not to fully trust the forecast, but if we base the weather on this http://www.weatherzone.com.au/nsw/sydney/sydney/detailed-forecast then apparently there is still a decent chance of a dry race.
Bring your gear, a large bin bag and a waterproof if you want. If it starts to rain and you're not keen on skating or getting your board wet, then you can cover it up to keep it all purty.
im talkin to zeb
well just bring ur gear anyway just in case it doesnt rain :)
sweet as :)
Aww sweet, I really would like to, but it's just if there is rain I'd rather just take some pictures cause I want my board to stay all pretty ahah :)
