Event Description

Its time for the 3rd K-Valley outlaw showdown!

This is a fun little track with high speed sweepers and a tight hairpin corner tucked away in the beautiful Kangaroo Valley.

Minimum safety requirements are Helmet and Gloves. Full faces and leathers are recommended but not mandatory. If you value your skin i would say wear leather, but if you don't have any don't worry, you can still race as long as you got a lid.

There is a campground at the bottom of the hill so there will be free-riding of the local hills on the saturday followed by camping and racing on sunday.

Entry fee will be around $25, if you wish to contribute more to help pay for petrol for shuttle drivers that would be epic.

There will now be a 32-man heat tree, so if you did not get your name on the riders list it wouldnt hurt to show up, because you will probably still get to race.

There will be cash prizes and also give-aways thanks to Sector 9 and Orangatang. If anyone else would like to get involved as an event sponsor please contact me and we can get some banners organized.

We need helpers! Anyone who wants to help with marshaling, start/finish lines, shuttling, radios and just general radness contact me ASAP.

I would like this event to be documented and filmed, so if there are any cinematographers out there who know their stuff and would like to help film please contact me. I have camera equipment and will be able to swing some dollar but only if your serious and can prove your camera skills.

Yeah, even 32 will be difficult to fit in on that hill. Everything takes a long time there - gotta wait for traffic, and gotta wait for the lift-car to drive people back up the hill.

One issue with the date - the school holidays start that weekend, so there might be a lot of people heading down to that campground for their family camping experience. A week earlier might be better.

Just another thing, it's gonna be a small outlaw so it doesn't get blown out and shut down, so like Maybe 32 max. Can't have like 100 people there. So once a date is set we can take names and then those who are racing will get told the details of where/when and all that. Anyone who wants to help out on the day would be much appreciated

So what your saying is you want to get an idea for a date that works well for everyone? You should leave it open for a few days and once people show their interest you can settle the date.
