Just a quick questionnnn... does Maidens of Steeze get together and skate as like a weekly thing, sort of like Bomb Squad... or is it more or events, like the one coming up this weekend? :)

It's mainly a group to link girls together, and we meet more at events than for regular skate sessions because we live all over Sydney. Bomb squad is a good place to organise to skate with girls as it is regular and central. You can also post a skate session and time on this thread and girls will likely attend:)

Was such a fun day of skating ladies. I was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and general stoke of the 26, yes 26 girls! Was great to see everyone improve over the day and really push themselves to new skill levels.

Big thank you to the Maidens for sharing their skills and gear and encouraging all of the newbies.

Big shout out to James, Vincent, PC, Sheff and Bruce for assisting with teaching

Thanks to Robbo and Hop for helping out with all the gear

Watch this space for more casual ride days like today. Will also be putting on some beginner-friendly small race days in the future.

Lea, numbers for the Maidens Carpark Capers was 30. There were 4 girls who left before the photo.was taken. Very solid numbers and the maidens were absolutely soaking it up. Acknowledgement of the traditional owners was hilarious...love your work. Looking forward to getting the broom out for the next one.

Girls! Make sure you register for this event. There is a grom and a ladies category. Registration OPENS TONIGHT. Spots will fill up quick as.

We will be having a practice day for the girls at the track the Sunday before. You can ride the hill however you like. Don't worry if you don't feel confident racing yet, just register to be part of it and have some fun!!!

Hey girls - Rego starts this Saturday for the Mount Keira World Cup Race!

It's like a big fun, slightly faster version of the Pump Station - it will be a closed road and if you just chill it then it's not so fast. Rego will fill up quick.

Don't miss this chance to ride with the worlds best women!

And if you don't want to ride, register as a volunteer to help out on track, assist at a World Cup Event, and meet the worlds best riders!

Thanks to all that attended today in spite of the rainy weather. 20 girls was a great turn out!

Awesome to see so may first timers. Everyone improved a lot over the day, and it was great to see everyone get stoked on skating. Keep your eye on this page for the next event - I'll post it this week. Until then keep practicing. Happy skating!
