Another grommet in hospital with terrible head injuries
Although he collided with a car and no helmet a lid could have offered lessened injuries

sad..
Far out. Skating down a hill, at night with headphones in.
Smarten up kids, wear a lid or have half of your skull removed.
groms look after your head, both of them. wear a lid and a rubber, life aint much fun when you cant use them

That sucks. That's why I always wear a helmet.

But I got pissed when I saw that they called the scooter kid a 'Skater'.

Dominic has plenty more friends who do the exact same thing on a z-flex..

I hope they learn from that, and don't repeat the same mistake.

Posers skate with no lid, you wold be better of posing as a ballet dancer, Safer eh
I always skate with my helmet and I never skate in the dark, just incase. I can usually see pretty well but I just don't trust other people in cars that they can see me..
this happened on one of my local hills, it is incredibly sad. i'm actually a freeborder and since a very well-known rider recently died because he wasn't wearing a helmet, the change in the attitude toward helmets in the freebord community has been phenomenal. it is now considered completely unacceptable not to wear one. disrespectful, even. hopefully something similar may come of this situation.

RIP Sammy the freebord lord
