Event Description

Gather again my young Padowan learners, its that time once more! The Hopkin School is back in session.

This time, we will be focusing on sliding techniques and stopping maneuvers. This is a good day for those new riders to learn how to slide/stop PROPERLY and safely, and for those rad shredders who know all the moves and want to perfect their style.

Bring your gloves, your lid, plenty of water and some food to nibble on, and dont forget your smiles!

The Hopkin team will be there to teach you all how to perform at your best, help you with your style and show you the correct ways to put gloves on the ground and push wheels side-ways.

The School will be at a location not too far from the Hop Shop, this location will be announced during the week once we have everything finalised. We will start at around 10.30am and it will run for approximately 3 hours.

As any other Hopkin Skate School, this is also a free event. Young groms and newbies are the targets pupils so please just come along and join the fun!

yo crew, we are going to be doing the slide school on Borlaise St, just off Willoughby rd not too far from the Hop Shop.

If you dont know where that road is do a google search and you will be able to find it.

If everyone can meet there by 10.30am we will get things happening.

PLEASE do not skate hill until everyone is there and we get started. I know its going to be hard to restrain yourselves but i would prefer if we are all skating together as a group when the school starts, that way everyone is being supervised and looked after. If your dicking around and slashing about and someone from the public isnt stoked you could blow it for everyone else, so keep that in mind.

Going to be a fun day and make sure to take ALL your rubbish with you.
