Round 3 at Geelong longboard track. There's big cash prizes. Most will already know the track and where it is. But if not, it is an intermediate track, pretty smooth but can get pretty intense. This is an all round good track for throwing days, due to not having to get it closed down and go through all that with the council.
Race Details
1 class-open. We'll need to know how many numbers will show up pretty soon so we can get the heats sorted out.
2-man heats. 5 pushes at the start of the heats. Any dirty racing and you'll be disqualified and will where the cone of shame.
It's now on the 13th of April due to more time for organization. PRACTICE RUNS START AT 11
Getting There
I'd say get dropped off or find a lift. I'm not sure about how to get there on public transport, maybe just ask someone else going to see if they know how to get there from southern cross station. Meet at the start of 'three springs rd geelong" at 11:00. Practice runs will eventually start, then heats will start, and eventually on to finals.
Entry Fee
EVERYONE must sign a waiver! IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, YOUR PARENTS OR GUARDIAN MUST ALSO SIGN THE WAIVER. $10 for entry to competition. Get your downhill setups ready, shred the track, finish on podium to win some cash, and show who's the boss this year of Geelong Longboard Race. Waiver%20of%20Responsibility%20pdf.pdf
Safety gear
Helmet & gloves must be worn. Full face advised.
Race has been given clearence to get Asra points!

dude make the practice runs at 11 or so because of those getting to the race via vline you would have to wake up at 4am or so. Make the runs starting at 11 that go for an hour so something
just an idea for the way to run groms set the age at what ever asra uses (so people can get points allocated to them in their division) and then just take placings from how they perform in opens resolving any ties with heats so riders can be placed ie if say 6 groms get knocked out first round they can no longer place better than the bottom 6 in groms and then you race out any ties
trew jye Jake u should think about it
you should make a grom division aswell as a open division?
cant come broken arm so pissed right now
