Event Description

Location:

The hill is located about 5 minutes from the bottom of maquarie pass. It's out if the way of any traffic and very very quiet. It's very steep, fairly rough, and nice and turny.

Rider Limit:
Limiting it to 32 riders, seeded by ASRA rankings. 4 man heats single elimination format.

REGISTRATION

Registration will begin on Friday 27th July, at 6pm The cost is $15 and the rider limit is 32. Once rego is paid there will be no refunds for any reason, you use it or you lose it.

The Track:
This road is fast, windey and just a little bit rough. The corners require sliding and the straight sections are difficult to tuck through.
Leathers are advised but not compulsory, fullface helmets and gloves are!

Prizes:
Podium wins cash money$$$ as well as a new FP skateboard for the winner. There will also be a top 4 grom race for a $50 voucher for shellharbour surf and skater.

Premium Member Comment by Steve on July 27, 2012 at 19:26: Probably for the best Matti. A race at Nova would be great but the amount of armco and rock walls make it impractical. A big crash here from a racing incident has the potential to be quite serious.

In regards to organising an event. There is a first time for everything Matti, don't worry about it, everyones just stoked you have stepped up to the plate champ

The hill has to be changed back to "girls". A video of the hill will be made tomorrow. It's fairly rough down some straight sections, but it's a fun fast turny hill that will make for great racing.
Again I'm sorry for fucking everyone around. Organizing an event is WAAYY harder than I thought it was!

its quiet as fuck, middle of no where. lotsa armco but lots of blind corners.

you will need MANY marshalls on this rd to relay signal up the hill if a car breaks through at the bottom.
