most boards can easily handle 40.. you can do 'sick stand ups' on pretty much anything

yah they probs can but im just just figering out which bard i lik more out of the 2 and wanted to see some peoples opinion

Harry any chance you can make it into the Hopshop . If you can you can stand on both decks and then make a choice . Both decks are good for freeride and downhill it's what feels best under your feet that makes a sweet board.

the amazon is more a race board and the rival is more a freeride deck, but like Kanufi said try em out first to see what feels best also check out the vandal sick top mount board from rayne

they dont have the amazon in and i have stood on the rival

hey harry

you also want to take length into consideration cos you are like 145-150cm tall

The rival platform is like 24-25" and the Amazon is 26-27"

im 154cm thank you very much

does any you guys have the rival or amazon

Have ridden both. Rival has a tab bit for flex but I'd take that up to 60-70 happily - I have a wide stance so its a bit cramped for me I'm 175cm with a 27" + stance. The Amazon is pretty much a drop through, race stiff Supreme. Longer foot platform - I'd rather that :)
