brain damage at Newtons?

I got a message there was someone that crashed and sustained a brain damage injury at Newtons, does anyone know more on this (the person that told me was there for filming and doesnt know who it was)

If anyone has any info that would be great, if it was someone I know, I need to know. thanks.

Not that I'm aware of. Robin fractured some bones in his back but is out of hospital now and flying home today, had another rider with fractures bones and one guy took a bunch of stitches and staples in the head but was out the same day. From what i know all will fully recover with no lasting damage

had a chat to the dude with the gash on his mellon. It was a heavy crash, flipped over landed on the back of his head, full KO sliding on the track. Seems that the impact went through the helmet and put a huge gash in the back of his head, however the helmet saved his skull/brain and he will be 100% ok, just suffered minor concussion and a gash in his head.
however, i did hear that he threw his skateboard on the fire at the after party and wil not be riding again

Apparently he had a seizure after he hit his head.

Yeah something along those lines...was fitting. I am skeptical of how well Charley helmets work theses days. Personally prefer something with a bit more foam in it and a harder shell. But a different helmet might not have helped either, who knows...

Yeah we burnt the evo. Was an awesome night. But he's been skating still back in Perth.
