Hey folks, update. Spoke to one of my ex collegues at the Cult labs, as I have been getting a few messages asking about Cult availability in Aus.
JHS is bringin in the complete Cult line up, starting with the race wheels, those are available now. The Classics and the Converters (freeride wheels) will be available later in the year.

That's good news for Australia but I want them NOW dammit....

Guess I'd better get round to putting in an order from the UK. And yeah, Reuben, this is all your fault man. It won't be long before I'm stockpiling wheels, semi-automatic weapons, concubines and kool-aid in a barn out in the desert....

i feel guilty... sorta, well not really...

www.macs.com.au the owner troy doesnt have them on the webby but he has them instore!

Classics or rays?

death rays. give macs a call and he will ship anyway in aus.

Just bumping this thread up to make people aware that (a) Hopkin are now stocking Classics and (b) anyone not riding Classics is basically just wasting their life...

80a Death rays slide real nice once broken in. But it took me like 60 heel/toeside pendys to wear them in

Apparently the Death Rays grip like a thing that really grips, so not really ideal for freeride.

I'm not riding them....yet. I did a wheel swap with a mate for a day's skate session. My freerides for his classics. No contest. The classics dominated for sliding. Come to Gabe's slide jam. I should be there (minus the classics, but you'll have the benefit of my awesome company nonetheless and that should make up for it)

Just take off the first layer. Attatch the wheels to a drill and use a file to take off 1mm or sooo. Works reallly well

But then whats the point of the wheel? Its designed for racing. Converters are the best sliding wheel i have ever tried as well.
