This day is a very dark day at that, my favourite board just got eaten by a car! I cant believe it diddnt snap in the middle as they drove right across the middle of it!!
I can't believe it flexed to the ground and sprung back up... wait...its ok what the...
even a guy on the footpath said out loud fu.k me did you see that how strong is that board....
but on closer inspection its split down the middle 1/4 the way down the board!!! FK FK FK , and right down the screw line, FK FK FK.
Just enough to wreck it but not enough for me to believe it...

massive repair on the way???
heads spinnin, epoxy, timber dowl, threaded rod, router, cut and splice ahhhhhhhh
ride it till it splits....mmmm
cut it down..... Noooooooooooo

cry
cry
cry

30 seconds silence please for all the dead timber out there
that once served us well, until the day a car won

boo hoo,
a rose,
and a hand full of dirt.

looks like I might have just bought Pirate law, sorry if you were thinking about it, unless an offer is worth it

Cheers Ash, still good but only good for the wall.... spent ages, opened up the split a little added epoxy, drilled small hole at end of split to stop it traveling any further... Grooved out the split and filled with epoxy then bolted Stainless Steel plate on top and alloy plate to bottom- under clamps and epoxy..... came out great rock solid......trucks back on - out we go...... well- she creaks worse than grandmas top step, and its sort of flexi, bending and cracking with every weight shift, all looks ok but its sort of like a wood laminated timtamsponge?? not the solid weapon it was...time for the wall, have mounted up wheels and trucks on an old old water ski.. 5ft 5ish and am enjoying the weird hairy ride....see my - i'm so cool vid... have bought my self new dh deck...am waiting for it to arrive....will sand it off...think of something cool to paint on it, paint it all up, go thrash around on it for a while then prob feed another car a little timber, then repeat the process.... not many but some routines are fantastic! will post some pix of the repair and ski as soon as dload em off my phone.
