back in the UK a mate and I built a press using mdf and threaded metal rod, top and bottom boards with curved mdf spars in the middle. Laminate a few birch ply sheets together and clamp them in the press for a couple of days. Gives it as much camber and concave as you decide by the curve of the spars. Then just cut and graphic, get some hardware on it and you're good to go. I'm just trying to find somewhere around here at the minute where i can get some sheets of birch ply.
cheers man!
I live in O'Connor but also have the pleasure of working out in Fyshwick near the DFO. Yeah i'll be getting to bunnings this weekend to get some gear and get this press underway so i can knock out a board as soon as possible. Be good to get out riding with some folk around here!
hey henry, I've just moved to canberra recently so i'm currently boardless but hopefully building a press in the next or two to get a board built and get out riding.

cheers
