At 19:43 on January 24, 2009, Skate Australia Film said…: Well on the way to Sydney to take Steve and Jacko home the Skate Australia van overheated and died with a massive jet of steam. After getting it towed to Goulburn, everyone else hitched back home, and I then go the van back to Canberra. Then that night after driving a dead car home on the highway at 40ks an hour for about 3 hours, my 2 camera cases, including 4 cameras and all the footage was stolen from my van while it was parked in the driveway of my parents house.

So guys... All I got is photos :) and I'll work to put them up and show everyone. But at this stage I'm flat broke with a dead van and no chance of getting this film up to scratch for the international doco conference in february. I just want to thank everyone so much for all the awesome support and enthusiasm I was given for this project. I would never have even dreamed it would get as far as it did without all the encouragement and ideas from my friends, family and the skating community. As I said, the film was making itself.

I'm gonna take a bit of time off now and think about what I'm gonna do. If insurance pays off everything then I'll start all over again! Why the fuck not eh?
