hey bro, the 86's don't seem to get better (not in comparison to drifters, durians, purp 4prez, hi grades or flywheels.....) meh.
oh, also i have just traded into a snake graphic landy d'speed...its no where near new- i can post pics...would you have something you'd be interested in trading for it? let me know here or on 0415 693 967.
haven't been to the botanicals yet but we did skate a hill by the shrine. Roads were so rough just ate into our gloves. hill was pretty steep. Fitzroy has everything, nice long runs and one hill is long and steep perfect for sliding.
hahaha his mohawk is kinda sad nowadays...due for a touchup! yeah tomorrow is still on unless its starts pouring. hopefully it doesnt :) if anything gimme a call 0431156163
Unfortunately my time's pretty precious. It's only since I withdrew from ASRA management that I've been able to complete some of my projects I started literally years ago. I can however give you some really good tips so you can fix your own. It's not as hard as you may think.
Then when you get good at it you can show your mates and so on.
Yeah the flushie was originally jacko's. He snapped the nose off after just 2 weeks of owning it by smackin it into a gutter after he bailed.
I was gonna make a landyatchs style trailer board but decided to have a go at repairing it.
Firstly I dipped some deckbolts in grease then clamped the broken bit back in place using a baseplate wrapped in gladwap. sealed it all of an filled the entire void with epoxy mixed with sawdust. This lined it all up straight and glued it back but I knew it'd have zero strength so I wrapped it in carbon fibre.
Worked a treat!
basically the section where we skate starts from the top and there are a few footpaths you can take and they all lead to a pretty wide path at the end. Goes a decent speed if you start at the top and push hard. nice to practice drifts and slides :) I always have my knee pads on wherever I skate but that's just me and my weak knees :)
