Brad, i went to the hillclimb track today whilst at work, had my board in the car but it was pissin down, its not as long as i thought, about 600m and surface isnt great at all, no good for a real race but i reckon it would be alright fun if on the way to somewhere else like dorrigo. Heres a pic of the big corner, i took a vid of me driving the whole track which i might put up if i get time

hi brad, talked to dave from carveboard yesterday and he said he's been to the hillclimb track and reckons the surface is pretty rough...bummer! I will stilll probably check it out at some stage. I need some GS practice! hoping to maybe get down to linden before the race for a skate if the naccos are keen.

hey dude. the helmet is going to be a full fairing aero helmet, very similar to the LID Technologies design. it will be built around a full face mountainbiking helmet (the black and grey one in some of my photos). the shell will be designed to break apart and detatch from the helmet on a big impact. i am currently working on sketches of the design, which will be followed by a cardboard mock up, then a foam mold for laying up the proper shell.

Great stuff Brad, an extra genny/lights would be very handy. I've been a bit concerned that the lights we're hiring might not have enough coverage.
