Hey i am going to order a hellcat i have a few questions. how heavy is it ? can you do tricks using the nose and tail like shuvits and nose manuals? wat setup do u have?
Cheers
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you but I have been away for a couple of days.
Grip is $25 and the bushings are $30. Not sure about the bushings as I have to admit to not liking the Venoms at all. I find them too dead for me and much prefer the Reflex.
Mate don't worry about not knowing about the beast there are only three in existence. check my page and look at the feedback jacko gave me on the photo of beast two. I have heaps of shots on there of the building process. Nice to think you mentioned drifting like a beast :)
only have the Reflex ones so far as they are all the local distributor has managed to get so far, will have the others as soon as Abec ships the new ones.
yeah its tricky once they get a flast spot its nearly game over, you just gotta round em out before it gets too flat.
the reason you probs got a flat spot from when u shut down is coz u probably locked your board sideways for too long. when u slide u need to keep the wheels spinning, and to do that you need the board to rotate. you cant just lock it sideways and hope for the best because theres nothing to keep the wheels spinning, then they get a small flat spotted area and then lock into it. just do a big long drawn out pendy or throw in a few quicker slides to slow down first. but yeah if you lock it sideways your wheels flat spot and it take either a lot of skill or a lathe to fix em up
haha sorry man they already paid! gotta be in quick. with stuff like that its first come first serve basis ya know, just trying to get my shit out the door and money in, its all to help me out with traveling and all that so its all gotta go.
might have some more stuff up for grabs in the next 2 weeks so stay posted
when I first learned them i just went to a real slow road with just a slight hill and did a reg. 180 then try to do a big long carve going switch and sort of turn back around without sliding. then when you can lean off switch whithout stacking do the same but try kicking the tail out with ur back foot half way through the carve. takes a while but you'll get it. as for the pendies they are usually flukes haha, but if u just keep leaning off after ur 180 instead of getting balance then trying switch, should work lol.
I'm not even sure hey. I kinda fluked it when i did one and remebered what it felt like.
When you're sideways you gotta push with your front foot to get back straight, and take pressure off your back foot but not completely..
... and look where you are going to slide.
jonty mate, i need to talk to you sometime bout frome. another mate had a small accident and you gotta get people to go up there and clean it up, im not annoyed at you but im gettin annoyed that mates keep hurtin helmselves up there.

Yeah i just saw the thread and commented on that.
The concave is really big, the w cave in the back is wicked, some people like it and some cant stand it, all depends on what you like.
I use it mainly for downhill and its a beast, Its so stiff and locks your feet in so there is no chance of slipping. Feel free to ask any questions
Cheers
