Grom Bomb 2012

The 2012 grom bomb was organised by Cam kite, and run by hopkin team riders and asra.

The events success was a credit to the people involved.,all whom have been involved in organising, coordinating and running races for quite some time now. Kams girlfriend Jae has contributed a lot of her own time in the weeks and months leading up to the event also, making…

Grom Bomb

Tyler the youngest of all the groms at 9! super solid little tuck and sic race lines make him one to watch!

Stoked to wake up to near perfect race conditions and with no time to lose I smashed a banana, hopped in the car and headed out to a rad little race hill stashed away in the blue mountains. The Grom Bomb at the tender age of a new born has set the bar high for future grom racing in OZ. With the 64 spots filling well before the close of rego…

Gnarlston Gorge

GABE TAKES THE WIN

Galston Gorge is a hairpin filled wonderland in the Northern bushland of Sydney, flanked by Sandstone cliffs and walls, This Road has always been talked of skating...If only there were no cars!

The word on the street that Galston gorge rd was shut for road works spread like wild fire and sure enough like a fat kid to cake the Sydney crew scrambled to ride the… Click here for the full story

G,day Cam.

No apologies required Cam, I don't need to be notified in advance of any events at Pump Station I admire what your doing for the Groms and the future of longboarding .I do get a bit concerned for the welfare of the place as I consider it to be a rare and unique spot,I have spent a lot of time getting the locals on our side and at this stage we are in the good books with them all, even the local bushfire Captain. As long as we keep the place litter free and no mindless vandalism we can look forward to hosting plenty more events there. We had an issue with some crew cutting the locks on the gate and taking a car in to skitch back up the hill,we know who that was and have sorted it .Going by the message you sent me we are all on the same page .I will be there for the race, don't know about the BBQ though But can ensure the track is clean and in pristine race condition.

regards Mick

Hi Kam, Big thanks and kudos for Grom Bomb 2011. We had an awesome day at both the Grom Bomb and School of Speed the previous week and my little micro-grom Tyler was completely stoked with ... well, pretty much everything! Thanks for sorting him with the gloves before the finals as he later owned up to skating with Benny Hall without his as he left them at the start.

Yea, we have thrown the idea about before. We have well over 200 groms here though and we aren't really sure how to run it. Obviously we have to limit the numbers but need to make sure everyone who wants to come gets to at some stage.
