By the way, where do u stay? I'm getting the impression that u don't live in Wonthaggi cuz it sounds like it's pretty easy for u to come to the city whenever u want.
We don't usually go that far away to sesh a garden. If we decide to travel far, it would probably be for a mountain road. None of us have a car so if we were to travel somewhere to skate, it would have to be worth renting a car to go to.
We'll be having a sesh at chirnside park this saturday. we'll be getting there at around 11:30am - 12pm. My number's 0432031033. We usually organize our sessions in the asra group Team Melburn. We don't usually let people join the group until we've actually skated with them and got to know them. We'll also most likely have a carpark sessions in the city Sunday night. Location has yet to be decided. Let me know if you're interested in either and i'll give u more info on where and when to meet.
Few of the other regulars would probably join your sesh if that's ok. I know it probably feels weird to skate with a bunch of people you don't know but that's how it usually starts out and the best way of improving your skills is to skate in a group :) We're not sure if we'll even be around that time. A few of us are planning a roadtrip around victoria to hit some of the best hills out there, and it'll probably happen around the time of ur bday sesh. Do you go to the city much? We usually have a weekly sunday night session at carparks in the city. Saturday's usually dedicated to downhill/freeriding at various areas around the outskirts of Melbourne. If you're free on April 11th, u should come to the city for a longboard sesh sponsored by the skate store Hemleys. We're basically trying to gather as many longboarders at 1 spot.
Ya I saw that road u mentioned...it looks nice. Perhaps we will make a trip down there one day. When exactly will you have a bday sesh? It's not a good idea to skate fitzy during the day. We've gotten kicked out by park rangers. Safest time to skate there's usually after 7:30pm. I'm sure a bunch of us will definitely be up for a sesh. Always nice to meet new skaters. Especially those that downhill.
