"Wider is more stable and narrower turns more". Thats the theory, but theres next to no difference between something like 180 and 185mm. You might get a little excited doing downhill on 150mm hangers though - but for a smaller cruiser, 150mm hangers are a lot more fun than 180s.
Yeh man, they're a good truck. Then again, Randal and Paris are both great all round trucks. I've seen guys racing Mt Panorama at Newton's Nation on Randal and Paris - thats as serious downhill as it gets - and at the same time, you see just as many Paris as Bears as Randal being used for freeride and sliding. The cast truck choice really does come down to choosing the one you like the look of the most, or if some come up cheap - they really are that similar.
