the only time a head wind would be an advantage on your local, getting back to the top.
And yeah,helmets save lives, put on a lid.

I think I have seen people trying to make a sail of the opposite nature, to slow down, and that failed pretty badly... They would be good for cruising a long strech of road, say, interstate, but any other riding, not so.
Don't listen to my negative comments though! Hope you can get it working.
Comment by Michael Kernot on January 9, 2011 at 0:36 plenty of people have done this with kitesurf trainer kites, can be dangerous though depending on wind strength as even though they are relatively small compared to normal kites they can still pack a punch
