Nope Leigh. When they stared ovalising, I rotated them...but I should've put the back onto the front, because the back cops the harsh stuff. Jacko has told me how to stop this happening, I should pull a pendy at the bottom instead of just shutdowning then slide and holding it sideways. Everytime for 3 runs or so when I shutdown, it kept hooking onto that flatspot, growing it...there wasn't much I could do. Devo I missed out on Jacko's 3 sets of 4prez for $70...But I have new ideas now.

im new to the whole lathe thing but, by the time that fucker is round, you will have to get 3 double kickers wheels to match it. thats just what i'm thinking.
and if you wanna core it, go sit on the road for 4 hours rubbing it back and fourth and WAH-LAH a cored wheel.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I wanted to core my first wheels! Never hurts to try though I guess. I'm looking at ABEC11 classic thane freerides for my next ones.

that wheel is toast man... every time you slide it will find that same flat spot and lock up. there is no way that wheel can rotate while your sliding, its fully fucked... getting it on a lathe wont help either, you will need to chew away so much thane for it to be round again. my suggestion - time for a new wheel

Ahhh, I'll give it a go Ayds haha. I reckon I can ride them for another month or so hopefully. It would be a waste riding them down to whatever they are and leaving them. I've never worn out a wheels, so yeah, a goal haha.

deeeewd i dont think you should even bother lathing it haha, cos to get it round again your gonna have hardly any wheel left!

Dude, it was sliding haha, when I was doing shutdown slides at the end of our favourite run, it kept sliding on the flatspot for some reason...about 3 runs in a row, it kept ending up on the same spot...the wheel must just go there ahah. And the other 3 are just coned/ovaled, with very slight flatspotting, so this is BY FAR the worst.
So to reaffirm you Merrick, it was several long shutdown slides on the same flatspot.

I hope to get this set of wheels on a lathe.

Stephan, don't call it a waste dude, I still rode them after this haha, it just feel a bit funny. After lathing, it should be good as new again :D
