The Black Rose leathers are good for what you pay.
The down side of them is that the stiching is external meaning that when you slide you rub over the stiching causing the seams to split.
With mine they have lots of seams due to the colour scheme meaning more seams to burst.
(You can give this some protection by spreading hot mix glue or duct tape over the seams).
The bigger draw back that i found is that the set I got are lined and it is not removable.
(I get realy realy hot and sweaty in them) You could cut out this lining and wear some skins under them.
I mean realy hot so check what lining the one you order have as i am sure they have differant versions.
All that being said I have realy got my moneys worth out of them. You do get what you pay for and $250 is not much for protection.
When I have more money I will definatly be upgrading.
Will be looking for unlined or removable lining, basic colour as I want as little amount of seams as possible, and internal stiching
Hey Luan,
hope you're still skating hard back home. haven't had too much time on the new ride, but yeah so far the zealous are nice. they are on my new foamcore topmount too.. such a nice combo. i think Fitzy knocked a bit of weight off the trucks removing the single axel and beveling the edges, cause the whole setup is very light now :)
