hey Steve, had a ball last night thanks for all your help, its great that guys like you & Kurt are more than happy to show someone whos just starting out in Salaom what they need to be doing, really needed the help now i just have to practice alot cheers.
Hey Steve, I'm gonna get some NJK's and I was just wondering wether you just got the standard luge/downhill custom suit or did you get extras added in, like pads, any stretch panelling that wasn't already included or kevlar?
If you could help it'd be unreal.
Cheers, Phill
Hey Steve, skating some nice roads yesterday and stumbled on to a crew shooting a Holden ad. Met a guy called "Halfy". He said "do you know Steve Daddow?" He told me you're great at dying.
Hey Steve, just read the artical about you in the gold coast news, and needless to say its very inspiring and vindicating to hear your story. As some one who has been in the sport about the same amount of time, and living a similar home life(construction worker/sk8r in his 30's). I was hoping to read that you're married, like myself. The reason i say this is, i recently had a bad crash on Mt. Ruapehu(NZ) leaving me out of action for nearly 5 months with damaged knees after sliding out into the armco barrier at 85km. Now my wife wants me to give up dh completely. Perhaps she'll come around after reading your interview. Anyway, thank you for showing folks that your never too old to sk8.
If Im not working and I can get my flights paid and some extra for bills then you will see me... I love to come and race man... You have fun and rip it up bro... Stoked to see your into it bro, keep going..
hey bro, hows going, just been relaxing with my girl on the couch reading concrete wave and was surprised to see your siloette and name down on the kebbeck team riders page, Fucking rad dude, when did this come up, concrats anyway, hope to see you overseas this year anyway.
Hi Steve,
A thumbs up and best wishes for this years comps, from me to you,
I may have only met you 4 or 5 times but each time your polite, helpful and seem
an easy to get along with guy.
I read this post of yours a few hours ago, didnt get round to commenting then.
now the vid and all comments have been withdrawn.
I think this situation, that occured to you,
"The owner from Boardshop knows that only a week ago I asked him for a little something for selling photo's of me to a mag................ect ect ect"
for me,
is pretty rude/(not in the spirit of friendly competition),
hope Boardshop grows balls, some conscious and apoligises to you for it all.

Hey Steve sry dont get on the puter that much..I live in townsville was one of the event staff for btb was hitting you up abt cornering techniques. I go up stwrt on a sunday with Aido,Clay,Graham and those lads. Just got back on the board after breaking my upper humerous down the big hill but was doing slides down there abt 50 60 ks this weekend bit scared to go any faster on the setup i have if my kahas are not at 52 degrees they bite like shit but now after seeing what trucks u made it for i see why:) have had a bit of delam of the fabric print but have checked the board and structualy its fine(I'm a composite tech by trade).(i weigh about 75kgs maybe i'm a bit heavy for this 7 ply flex down stwrt?) Fckn top board man quality control is awsome when i'm not pov as shit i will definatley buy a stiffer version of you..peace
Steve
I won the praxis you donated for the NZ Tour auction and am looking for advice on which trucks work well with the board. I want to run a 42-45 angled truck without modifying the board. Any advice on which trucks suit the board best would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the help.
Played around with all my trucks to see which suited and ended up with bears. Waiting for some new bushings then it will be time to take it to speed. Will send you pictures soon have fun at newtons
Hey Steve, I was the grom who asked u about ur website at moth, kinda nervous when i spoke to u so acidentlly said drop through rather then drop down so anyway im looking into buy a drop down glyde deck foam core or wood i dont mind, but i have my heart set on getting it so. Please msg me back Cheers
hope everything went well on the way back home. Still trying to find that footage of the moth crash, if you could link me the footage or just send me a msg when you finish editing the day that would be wicked.
Thanks for the info, Stephen. I should have clarified better. I meant to say i liked the board shape and length. I had a design i liked but was wondering if you took requests (which you have answered). Sorry if i came across as asking for the same, i just assumed i meant differently. I figured all your designs are one offs as from listening to some of the guys talk, you're the person to go to for a quality customized board. Hopefully i will be able to catch up with you at the Monkeypig Derby
Been riding the Heelside board I won through the subscription comp for a couple of weeks now and I love it. First off the graphic/grip are sick! never owned a skateboard that looked so good in my life. Secondly she rides like a dream, when I first got on it a bit short underfoot but after a couple of runs it feels more natural then other, longer setups. Haven't pushed the speed really hard yet (60 tops) but freeriding has been a dream, concave locks you in and the tight shape whips around in no time. Thanks for the Rad board!!!
Hi Steve, I've just bought a praxis with the geisha graphic- a real work of art, beautifully done, fantastic feel too. But I'm having some trouble with the setup, getting wheel bite on both drop through and top mount. I took it for a run topmount and didn't have any problems, but can easily get bite just standing on it and worry about it happening at a bad moment. Currently running Sabres and InHeats. What do you recommend?
Yo, when i friend requested you, i asked for the wrong wheels. haha umm, interested in the 20 dollar otangs? im in sydney. any idea how much shipping is? and is paypal cool? cheers man
