yeah they're sick dude, found some epic local runs in the last month. you'd know brown mountain maybe if you know where i am, just kilometres of complete gnar and hairpins.. sketchy because of semi trailers and shit though, the roads pretty tight..
the downhill longboarding scenes pretty small down here. and by small i mean just me...
keen for some lads to travel down for a sesh one time. get downhill spreading around!

yeah well we had to do it in parts.. its a bit sketchy with so many blind sections, so we have a few lads who watch me come up and sit on corners signalling... but its soooo worth it. they just re-tarred.

probably a flex 1 dervish deck, the voodoo doll deck and a slalom deck with tracker trucks. stuff i don't ride much and needs to get some use by someone. cant wait to get back up to speed though, i met mick mack briefly at newtons last year but haven't seen him since so it will be good to skate with him

i was looking at 120 for the doll and 180 for the dervish, both are in really good nick with a bit of grip tape lifting at the rear of the doll but that can be easily ripped off and re gripped because it is taped in sections not one whole sheet. how did you end up with excess trucks? my only spare trucks are the shit old pivot trucks (they are before gullwing came standard on sector 9s)

So apparently my paris trucks from hopshop, got lost in the mail, so Australia post is trying to sort that out.

and then i have heard absolutely nothing from comet about my Deck and wheels, they have not even sent me a tracking number and i ordered the thing 3 weeks ago.

so yea pretty annoyed, i'll get back to you if i hear anything/ when i get the stuff.

arg in the time that it's been waiting for the gear, i have been getting second thoughts thinking maybe i should have got a Deverish or something a little more versatile, because i don't know how much of a opportunity i'm actually going to get for hills where a bord like that is necessary, even though i would love to learn.

finnished my gloves today, am going to go out with my mate on tuesday after school and try some slides on his board.

i finally got a tracking number, so i presume they have sent it off. But the USPS tracking thing is down. really helpful lol.

so my board came after 2and a half months...... they forgot to pack my wheels, so i'm still grounded. yay.

i have emailed them but i think i'll just buy some from hopkin and when they do eventually arrive sell them, they only cost $50 with my board so i'd be able to sell for a profit maybe.

that's a pretty good price, i had a search for Merrick Wildash couldn't find him, you couldn't send me a link? or is he local around the gong?

I know absolutely every part of the board has had a problem, 2 months waiting, no wheels, and the trucks got lost in the mail. i definitely wont be recommending buying direct from comet, cheaper it maybe but customer service is not worth it, 2 months and i never even got a email. i don't know how i'm going to get these wheels off them.

it was cool to get out and finally meet a few of the guys. Stace, Ash and I only did half a dozen or so runs at bendeela while they had a freeride sesh. They were running late so sat at the top of the hill for ages but you get that. Mick Mack and I had a chat about local roads and stuff too, looking forward to doing it again soon :)
