I think he felt that everyone was taking everything a bit to seriousley and some particular comments made by particular people made him decide not to leave. I think he just wants to skate and isnt interested in anything else which is fair enough.

It's for a loaded devish which are not very good at hitting something at speed without damage to the front of the board, so I hope my board survive a bit long with the mods to it.

I'll defiantly come down to one with one of my mates, As for a board, i ordered a NS heist with Randal 180's, bones reds and 78a 70mm 70's flashbacks (wow...that's a lot of 70..) and got it all on the Friday just past, took it out for my first skate last night =D. I'm really happy with it, the flex keeps surprising me though, i go to push and it flexes and i lose balance. i spose it'll all come with practice though

there in lies a minor prob with smokies. You're more or less stuck with JimZ bushes to use for the bottom. I personally hate JimZ bushes because they don't support my weight. I made some myself from 89a zigzags. I've got some coming my way to cut up into bushes. I can hook you up if you like. Top bushes are no prob. Just use a 90 deg Csink bit on the bush to clear the spherical like you said. If your kingpin is hitting feed it in from the top with the nut in the baseplate. This keeps a lower profile. Enjoy your new setup mate! They don't come any better than that in my opinion.

I have a maximus too Not set up yet ! BUT ill putting the bigger airflow 12?? with the spacers INSIDE and a Bennet up front ! im like 60 kg though !!

You would be better with a Wider tracker Xts or a 125 randal hanger with 50 /60 base , Still try the airflow back !! JUst play with bushings !!

Mate it is a hard call trying to set up a board !! You would need heaps different to me even wheels would be different with a bigger downforce on them ! I have so much traction problems being

the rear truck i ran all year was a FITZ proto slalom cnc machined by him (not a randal modified) ,it was just on a randal 35 base with 20 degree deweged ! i changed the rear angle from tight to GS by flipping the rear hanger giving 7 mm lower and 3 degree less cast camber ! Same bushings all year just tighten for GS . red khiro barrel (bottom ) Blue barrel khiro TOP

front
truck all year was a Tracker modified by me with white khiro conicle resesed for spherical(bottom) and orange khiro conical resesed (top)

I saw an old thread and you were asking about trucks, did you find the answer you were looking for. just interested that is all. also do you do gs slalom and do you have a recomended setup for that. The reason for asking is that i am a bigger rider (older as well) and doing a bit of research.
