Hey Nathan i think we should head to the mountain on the 20/21 and just see whats going on there !!~ I know its the MG car club that runs it and they are a bunch off old farts BUT we might get something out off itt !!!! YEP well sugarloaf is a rough ass pebbly old road now they have just redone the bottom FLAT section but its old stuff on the hill !! HILL IS big steep very fast exellerating hill much like bathurst .. ive done it luge and buttboard <... But never standup mate its just to rough and shitty !! ill take you there next time you are down !!!! Cya next weekend mate .. looks like this weekends a wash out !!!

Hey mate, it was a cracking weekend down there! - Met heaps of cool people, didn't think i'd meet anyone living that close to my home town though. That was unreal!

- Pretty busy with work and shit like that here at Sydney at this end of the year, but i spend alot of time up there around xmas seeing my oldies and catching up with mates.(Although i imagine thats when all the holiday houses fill up out at tallwoods..? - Roads could be a bit busy)

I'll take a skateboard or three up there with me anyway, so i'll organise something with you for sure. All of my other mates surf, or roll around at the park in Forster so i'd be keen as to bomb some hills at the estate.

I was up Forster this weekend for a mates wedding. Skated Palms Estate at One mile beach. In short, its really fun. They have started building up on the hill behind the Jehovah's Witnesses joint. Hardly any houses, smooth as surface. - Only sussed it out for about 10 mins, but found a great corner. I'd post a vid but its only really short. If you are in town and have your board in the car check it out.

I know the left hander you are talking about - it would be quick.. haven't skated over that side either. I'd like to hit up the section of K. drive that wraps down to the beach. Roads a bit rough though.
I'll post the vid of where i skated today. - then you'll know where it is. Vid doesn't do it justice. (20 sec's long from my phone.) It was so fun. You can aim uphill and carve hard into the corner.

Cheers mate! - So that was the section you were talking about - sorry man, got all confused there for a bit! Yeah, wanted to keep going down the hill and hook into that next bit... but because i had limited time i was stopping every time and running back up! Only got about 5 runs in then bailed back to Sydney. Spent too long trying to skate the park at Tuncurry. Key word - trying. I couldn't get enough speed up on that board to get a run going. The grom's were spinning out though, i don't think ant of them had seen a dervish before... so i guess that was cool.

yeh i got heaps from all year except the last race... the old skool team were covering that so im gonna be getting footage off them from that race (unable to sell it though) but yeh i can scrounge up all my footage from the year and burn it to a disk for ya... how much ya talkin bout?

hey mate, i was searching through a forum and i saw that you have been to the hill climb near Noosa, how long ago was that?
because a few of us have been recently and three quaters of the road has been resurfaced.

Ohh true man, okk yer we have a hill climb up at the sunny coast and it's a bout 2km long and smooth road. Just not as fast as you would want.
where abouts is that big massive concrete ditch thing?

I hope that area (Palms Estate) is still relatively quiet over Chrissie... I'm pretty keen to do a bit of riding around there.

Hey, you got a downhill set up too then i take it? What are you riding? I just purchased an 08 Evo with smokies. Took it around to Fitz's place last night and got him to put some bumper bars on it (I'm a bit precious with my gear) so now i've got the board sorted... but am missing the full face and leathers. Trying to sort it asap but its proving difficult. Are you coming down for the Western Sydney shootout thing..?

- Also, did you end up getting the kalahanis off Ado? Thats where i got the Evo etc from.

Thats sick man. I wish i had more time to hit it up. Such an awesome spot to dial in a set-up. Speaking of set-up's that would of been fairly mental on your board. - You must of been just hanging in there on those wheels!

Be great to get a few riders up that way for a day trip. Could do speed runs on that large hill then head to the dipper and try and take on the left hander up the other side from the top.

yeah, saw those pics after I posted that - I wondered if it was the same place... I remember the other section but we never use to hit that part, it wasn't as long or big and usually had a bit more crap in it. Do you know if it's been extended? From memory there was no housing planned for that part, so maybe that why it's not full of homemade concrete buffers ,)
And yeah, for sure, keen to go check it out again... There was another ditch nearby/on the way, in Bensville (Green Point), kinda small but fun enough to stop and session... I'll try and locate it on Google Earth.
