yeah paris are good trucks. with the right bushing combo they can do it all. for carving they have a nice turning feel, real smooth and when left loose u can get that snappy 'surfy' feel. put good DH bushings in and they are good to go (just like any truck).
u should make it drop thru, and if possible give it a bit of extra strength (if you can, dont go to too much effort) coz we will be pushing it to the limit ;) probs wont be sending it off 10 stairs like Rob Dog but will sure be having fun on it

Yeah i work at Hopkin Skate. the randal template for drop-thru is pretty much the best template as it allows for most trucks. I actually have no idea about board building so all that stuff about materials went straight over my head hahaha but yeah it sounds good either way! I'll be up in townsville for sure, wouldn't miss it for the world! read that post, cheers for the mention but yeah im actually even more impressed with the fact that you have never even tried a proper board or had much experience and then you just go ahead and make a sick one that has all the characteristics of a proper freeride/DH longboard! keep it up champ

yes your last guess is right. Stringers can be many things and can be constructed many ways. their purpose is too just stiffen up the board lengthways. On that deck I added an extra layer of ply then covered it in carbon. but even an extra layer of cabon can be a stringer. Triax is just a type of fibreglass cloth

Yesss of course sorry I forgot, But there was a tiny mix up with the wheels. The other set I had at home were the ones I used at bathurst and had only been ridden a handful of times, So they have no rough edges at all on them not like the other set!!!!! But because i did need the money I'm still selling them to you of course just wondering if an extra 10 bucks would be ok for them.... sorry to seem like i suddenly wacked up the price or anything but 50 is still super cheap for them haha :)

yeah the bushings are the same brand the top ones are a bit softer. its pretty much a carving setup. its what i already had in the trucks. they are venom bushings, and venom are good quality =)

i had them on a Rayne Timeline, pump-around city slasher type of board. i like em mega turny =)

it was used as a base glue, before i fibre glassed it

i had started with 12mm ply, then pressed it, then epoxy, to hold it all together, it works really well, did you make that board on your profile? it looks sick as!!

mate you can put whatever you want on the board and make a board however you want. this is not a commercial business and your not trying to make a profit so there is absolutely nothing to worry about. hell you could straight up copy someone's board right down to the graphic as long as your not selling it theres nothing wrong

hey about the epoxy, i have been pressing some boards with fibre glass inlays and epoxy resin, at a rate of 3 layers of 3mm ply with firbe glass inbetween each layer so the board is really really strong and has low flex

the only cure i have found, if u get a song stuck in your head, is to drown it out with another song, by singing along to it.... but then again, its such a good song!!!! sorry bro, but its a good song :P

Yeah I did indeed. I went with william for a drive to buderim and thought I'd show him drifters. Then there was a car at the bottom and I knew it would be skaters and I'd probably know them if they were skating there. Then I saw them and asked if one of them was josh and it was! I went back the following day and skated alot better. Finally doing like I use to.
The shoulder is going great, building more muscle everyday on it which is awesome. You have to come to drifters some day soon.
