hey mate, sorry it took a while to get back to ya (i forgot!) haha
At the moment, the price is kind of up in the air. Pete and i have come up with a stronger, thinner and lighter layup, incorporating bamboo, maple, fibreglass and carbon, and turned out a prototype that is working fantastically. we are going to be finishing the boards that we currently have on order, then will be costing these new boards. Were steering away from the custom thing, and will be making batches of boards to sell. I will post up some photo's of the new construction once it is finished nicely.
when I was bringing the Landy stuff alone I was retailing Evo's for $250. However this time I am being forced to bring them in with the Australian distributor and I have no idea how much she is going to charge me for "handling" nor how much the Govt is going to charge me for duties, Taxes, etc.
I am hoping I will still be able to do them for $250 but it more likely to be closer to $300.
Not in Oz (yet. I want to so bad). Just here to get away from the stupidity of S'Fish. The coolest guys I ever met on the Fish are from Australia! I'm moving to Okinawa, Japan in April, so maybe the tickets will be cheaper to fly over from there. Hope to skate with you!
hey! im already grabbing a pair for wayne tonight. we're meeting at flinders garage for a skate tonight so if you're free you can just grab them off him tonight. otherwise, im thinking of just getting a few pairs and passing them to whoevers interested.

Hi Steve,
What do u think your seismics are worth? Are they in good nick?
Are u interested in some 53mm popsicle wheels, i've got 2 sets of
World Ind, 1 yellow, 1 red, and a set of blue/white marble dura rollers (almost).
Wayne.
hey stephen...so me and gilbert went around the bike shops in the city today and no luck at all. closest we got was a pathetic looking bell helmet and it was buried in the back of all the display units.
but we ended up going into one of the motorbike stores on elizabeth street and got ourselves a KBC dirtbike helmet. Mine's pretty light i think it's definitely less than 1200 g. for a bargain!! 69 dollars!!
I've never actually been to dandy yet just got into dh recently. But a friend has and I think you can easily go past 60 km/h. Definitely gonna head there next week during the break
yeah they had a few left. a lot of others with a different pattern. Visibility is pretty good and its not too heavy cause I got the junior helmet. Just your average motocross helmet. Yeah its just behind melb central on elizabeth.
yeah we just got Polycarbonate today from bunnings and gonna try looking for tint also. Although I've no idea where the closest plastic shops are might just buy the tint online :)
We might be hitting Arthurs Seat this weekend if weather permits. I don't know if that's in your skill level. It's a pretty steep run with tons of hairpins and good amount of traffic. We'll do dh sessions every now and then and they usually take place really early in the morning.
oit stephen, saw your 'shaft' video. that is you right? i recognized your helmet haha. awesome stuff man (although i think we shouldn't harm transvestites :D) , its a pity you can't join us for night sessions at flinders. maybe we'll come over to your sites one afternoon.
i got the FSM, i followed the whole thread waiting to see what they came up with and i was very pleased at the end product so i finally decided to get it, hopefully its as good as it seems
its coming with randal 50s and comet wheels, i'll mess around with that setup and destroy the stock wheels, then maybe set it up with 42s and see how it goes. it was $390 shipped, about as cheap as any complete you'll get here i reckon.
bummer...was just about to ask you if you could skate tomorrow afternoon...
but most of our exams end in 2 weeks...(24th??) definitely come out for a day skate. apparently flagstaff is a pretty good place for some sliding so might check that out
yeah we're free for a skate on thursday but probably nothing too serious though cause we're leaving for sydney the next day. are you going for the carpark tour wednesday?
hmm i think flagstaff gardens would be pretty nice. thats my new practice ground. probably have to go around midday between 2-5ish to avoid the office rush. loads of ppl walking through the park giving you disapproving glares.
basically the section where we skate starts from the top and there are a few footpaths you can take and they all lead to a pretty wide path at the end. Goes a decent speed if you start at the top and push hard. nice to practice drifts and slides :) I always have my knee pads on wherever I skate but that's just me and my weak knees :)
Yeah the flushie was originally jacko's. He snapped the nose off after just 2 weeks of owning it by smackin it into a gutter after he bailed.
I was gonna make a landyatchs style trailer board but decided to have a go at repairing it.
Firstly I dipped some deckbolts in grease then clamped the broken bit back in place using a baseplate wrapped in gladwap. sealed it all of an filled the entire void with epoxy mixed with sawdust. This lined it all up straight and glued it back but I knew it'd have zero strength so I wrapped it in carbon fibre.
Worked a treat!
Unfortunately my time's pretty precious. It's only since I withdrew from ASRA management that I've been able to complete some of my projects I started literally years ago. I can however give you some really good tips so you can fix your own. It's not as hard as you may think.
Then when you get good at it you can show your mates and so on.
hahaha his mohawk is kinda sad nowadays...due for a touchup! yeah tomorrow is still on unless its starts pouring. hopefully it doesnt :) if anything gimme a call 0431156163
haven't been to the botanicals yet but we did skate a hill by the shrine. Roads were so rough just ate into our gloves. hill was pretty steep. Fitzroy has everything, nice long runs and one hill is long and steep perfect for sliding.
hey bro, the 86's don't seem to get better (not in comparison to drifters, durians, purp 4prez, hi grades or flywheels.....) meh.
oh, also i have just traded into a snake graphic landy d'speed...its no where near new- i can post pics...would you have something you'd be interested in trading for it? let me know here or on 0415 693 967.
