hey mate yeah i can get you a schlong board..barry has been a little quiet at the moment but let me know if your around the coast and i can take you to the factory and get one sorted..
hey dude. 70% of my life i'm on my Dervish, 30% on my Evo. in other words my Dervish is the commuter/freeride and the Evo is the DH/Race.
what you cooking man?
Yeah dude, favorites are probably, death before dishonor, too pure to die, jungle fever, h2o, xrepresentx, and yeah just shit like that. Punk hardcore mainly.
Um well ive done wallaby drive, if you have heard of that. And some hills up my way in buderim we have been hitting close to 80 if not low 80s.
haha yeah i guess it is, not as scary with leathers on but
I dont think your off the wall could go 80.
Wat bushings have you got in it?
Ive got a l37,such a fun board, ive only got it because my bruthadood split. And yeah life time garuntee means they have to replace it.
definitely not complaining :)
True true.
Ive wanted a slalom 30 they look so fun.
I havent actually ridden it yet because its been in the mail for like a million years. But yeah when i do ill let you know, im thinking it will be amazing since the bruthadood was amazing. And its an inch shorter and has a better shape so it will be easier to carve :)
yeh goin alright, been gettin over a shoulder injury still, that i got riding mount keira about a month ago,ive still been rollin heaps, but tryin my best not to crash as it would put back my recovery.i wanna be fit for a few downhill races comin up,im not big on slalom but the ditch race is gunna be fun, good to see you there, you get a bit of practice before they start timed runs so you can get the hang of it,ill see ya on the weekend..
Good mate, how about yourself? - You on holidays at the moment? I'm guessing yes, cause there's been heaps of grommies hanging in the water the last few days. Good waves near Cronulla on Thursday. Surfed for 4 hours. Best waves i've had in a while i reckon.
Been skating a bit but my wrist is still sore from that stack at CHC so just have to take it easy.
They will replace it, send them photos and tell them what happened. They replaced mine. And when you get a new one, trade it for my L37. My l37 is only like 2 months old, few scratches on the bottom. But nothing bad. What do you think?
Hey dude,
I had a look down the garage and I can hook you up with a bennet front truck and I'll get a new Tracker RT-S for the rear. I'll put some premium bushes in them and tune em ready to shred. Plus some slalom wheels and bearings.
These will be yours to keep in trade for a set of sidewinders.
Like I said I'll let you borrow a board and cones so you can have a serious go at proper slalom racing. If you don't like it just return the borrowed board and cones.
I'm hoping Nathan can take you out for a roll to show you the finer point because he lives alot closer to you than I do.
Are you coming to canberra for CHC next month. If you can that would be rad because I can just hand the gear over there to save on shipping plus you can have a go at racing! Nath and I can train you up and you're in!
I spose the best way would be to give the stuff to nath in canberra. You can drop by his and pick it up.
I live down in Miranda which is near cronulla. I'd doubt you'd wanna travel that far. You can if you want then I can set it up to suit you and show you some finer points.
I've got a board I made that just needs to be drilled and finished off, plus I gotta put it all together after I get the rear truck so it's gonna take at least a week or 2 unfortunately.
Hey Jack,
See if you can make it down next Sunday for Church of Slalom. I've got the board parts together, just gotta assemble it and tune it for you. Perfect chance to try it through the cones with a real race timer.
Lettuce know if you can make it.
its just a spot we skate d/h at...tech as in corners and speedchecks and pre-drifts are a must...or you can footbrake but it makes it a bit boring...good slide spot aswell...
All good to go.
PPS Jason Mitchell RacerX deck.
4" Wedged Bennet front with special Orange/White hourglass Khiro bushes.
4" Double wedged RTS with Venom DH bushes.
Force 70mm 75A wheels.
Rock N Rons Bearings.
Hope you can make it Sunday. I'll bring the cones too.
Oh! Bummer dude........
Well if you wanna come by and pick it up that's fine. Gimme a call to arrange a time. 0415 684 089
You sure you can't make it on sunday. It's gonna be a rad day of riding. I think we're gonna have a good turn out.
Oh dude! I really didn't want you to ride it until you banged the riser on. No drama, at least you learned an importantant lesson.
I've got enough boards so you can keep using that board as long as you like it.
I'd prefer you to keep riding the crap out of it rather than spending clams on another one. That was the whole point. Look after it for me though. It's such a good slalom board. Wide front, slight kick tail, very light weight and stiff so you can pump up heaps of power.
If you get good enough you won't need to buy new boards or anything yourself.
Maybe you'll get sponsored? Who knows.
Anyways, give your best and if it's not your thing then you got nothing to loose. If you're going to the Hop shop I recommend you buy some top shelf bushes for the front truck. Talk to Robbo. They've got a stack load of Venoms.
It's fun to look around the shop too. He has so much cool stuff.
Forgot to say,
Keep the back truck locked up tight, and the front super loose.
I usually only adjust the back truck but it's so important to keep it tight. This will help stop you from high siding.
Great to hear dude.
Doing DH and slalom actually helps each other. You'll become a really good rider that way.
Practice your sliding and footbraking. Practice your sliding on cheap ass wheels. Keep your zigs for that grippy ride everyone loves.
Do you have slide gloves?
We should meet up and skate it one day im heaps keen wats the traffic like and wat is the rough speeds that u are getting aroud there..and how long is the run.
omni with prandals and zigs/flywheels/amazingly coned durians like 68mm
thats a pretty solid effort with the zigs if you do it to all the wheels you've got yourself some freerides
but i'm looking at getting a drop speed so might get rid of the omni
rayne hustler with bear grizzleys and o-tang stimulus 83a. its got flex so you can pump around on it and coz its drop-thru you can bomb some hills on it. Now coz its got that flex its not a full-on downhill board and should not be primarily used as a full-on racing board but you can sure bomb some gnar on it
yes but no, there is a site in progress but there is no boards available now or before the new year, check out raynes line of boards if you were looking for something soon.

Im not into boards with kickers but. Just dont like them. I want a Rayne timeline, looks like the funnest board.
Well i changed it from dropthrough to top mount. And i was just dancing and jumped did a switch and it split up the side. So devo.
I think loadedboards are way over rated. I road both the dervish and the vanguard the other day and my brutthadood was funner than both of them.
