I figure youd know a bit abou this,
I just come into the possesion of the smokies and a demonseed, nice outfit.
Ive top mounted it for a bit of deck clearance, now bushings???
I think you posted somewhere about (the talon sphericals and the jitters)
to cone out the spherical side of the bushing so the bushing sits true on the hanger, no preload on the bearing at all.
Do you suggest doin this with smokies? or is it better to preload the spherical to keep it seated tight, cos smokie sphericals are just slip in
not pressed in.
What bushings are people using on smokies?
Cant fit the fastrack bushins in cos how farkin close to the bitumins
the king pin, fark! rode for 2 hours on sunday and already hit it a bit,
might have to get some 83 flys for ground clearance.

I reckon i'll take a set (maybe 2) of the 89a? jimz bushings, even just to have
somthin else to play with.
I feel a bit sorry for the rich kid i got the d/seed smokies from, he got it from
daddies, not setup i figure and he didnt know how too do it.

On the back was black top/bottom Jimz with the top bush upside down,
front truck had 2 black jimz top bushins one upside down both trucks
screwd up sooooo tight even my 100kg ass couldnt turn it,
and the kid i got it from was maybe 55kg!

I had 2 sets of Jimz whites so i've put them in and just playin a bit,
nothin to fast yet, prob put black in the back to slow the turn down a bit.

Have replaced the stock kingpin washers with some nice 2mm thick ones,
they wont deform,
i drilled the washers i.d myself and lapped them in to fit, ahhhh no rattle!

Have you tried machining the green nylon yet?

Sorry, rereading it now it did come off a bit harsh for the selling of the board.
But I had intentions of helping him and his board along.
I just thought know one here would buy it for that much and I might as well help him along.

The whole day at hopkin i got the chinook deck,
i got green big zigs 75mm,black bear trucks,bones reds,all that stuff haha and i got 80a big 80's,a set of green venom's,loads of stickers and a concrete wave magazine and it was and will always be the best shop in my eyes,i walked out with a smile so big it hurt me haha.
im doing slalom this saturday on your board too :)
its hard balancing the 2 haha.
im doing downhill/cruising in the afternoons and slalom at night haha.
did a few good hill today though,so stoked.

i have some homemade ones from pc.
you feel so much more protected with them on i reckon

hey fitzx im matthew one of th ekids arbi looks after in the residental care id just like to say thx for sending up that stuff its really great and yeah its awesome i love it arbi helped me put a board together with that and his old donhilll board and now its an awesome board thx man heaps hope to see some more of urt awesome work especially thosae gloves their awesome

yeah their really good but still and yeah arbi is awesome he truly is except he has a short fuse sometimes but hes still awesome but yeah he taught me to skate from scratch and when i first started abouyt a month and a half ago i couldnt even stand on the board witout falling off and now im narly up to sliding and im super fast and can nearly foot brake
