i have been skating on a home-made carving board (boganboard i call it) for a while about 2 years, but i just purchased a new FSU Slalom board so im keen to try.
but im not into too much downhill cause i dont really have the right board.

I met Leeso, Ash and crew at "BtB". Matt Ryan lives in Maroochy. I mainly ride luge and classic luge, but have been playing with kneeboard speedboards for years. yeh oe just to keep you updated, they have repaired the last bit on the hill climb, and it is smooth as roll all the way from the top to the bottom, give us a yell if u head back up our way

Hey, just to let ya know, we havent found a great run up this way yet, but we do know of a run out Kilkivan way. Its on Kilkivan/tansey road, It suppose to be like 22km nearly all downhill, and average bout 60-70k's

hey man, i got a 661 full comp helmet to and started to make a flip face shield for it, was so close to finishing it, until i left the heat gun on one point for a sec to long wrecking my couple weeks of hard work to waste. =( just wondering with ur face shield, does it sit to close to ur face when its between the helm shell and the foam? and is reflective tint any good?

Mary Hill was amazing. Great to skate with all the greats. Disapointed in the attitudes of some but Kevin Reimer, P-Swiss, Pilloni Blake from L-Yachtz, Midgit, Mike Mc...... So many and such great people. Canada is the shit!

Canada is something else. I learnt that not many people (myself included) can really skate in Australia. They do it totally different over there.

Do it man. You have a year, save $100 a week and you will be there next year. You have heaps of time to do it later in life though.

Dude, even with a sublaxation or semi dislocation you should really be off for some imaging at the hospital; sometimes when these joints get put back in place you can trap anything from nerves through to ligaments causing more pain and major problems later.
Even those that present at clinic are off the the Doc and hospital before we touch them, we have no idea what's gone on in the joint. Once done give me a shout and we have some stuff you can do. But looking long term, especially as you will injure your shoulders again get it checked.

no worries, see the doc tell him what you were doing and tell him about Newton's explain how we use our hands on corners etc as to some skateboarding is just; well skateboarding, he needs to know the stresses you're going to be putting through the shoulder. Let him know you ill be seeing a sports therapist for rehab but I need to know what damage has been done. Get back to me and if you can get to North goldy book in for a consultation at the clinic $25 for you U18's, sign up to the sports therapy package at Newton's (email should have got to you guys this week or if not very soon) and we'll get you down the hill. Not responsible for which way up you are at the bottom though >;0)
