No word on the gear leaving. Last I heard one of the Asyms had a defect (not sure what it was but Dave sent it back and a replacement was due early this week. I'll let you know as soon as I hear they have left.

Was a standup until January last year when I had surgery to remove Prostate Cancer. Doc told me that it would take at least 2 1/2 years for my insides to heal and that I couldn't afford to slap down on the road or I'd be in a real mess. Soooooooo, I took up Luge - Doc thinks I'm crazy - and I have just fallen in love with it, can't get enough. We ride Mt Stuart (site of BTB) every Sunday morning at dawn come rain or shine. Sundays just can't come around fast enough. Are you coming to Newton's to watch or help out?

Yea, sure am. Last year I had some follow up surgery on the Wednesday, came out of the GA at about 5pm, discharged myself at 7pm and then flew to Sydney and drove to Bathurst. I spent the weekend doing Tech and also Marshalling Forest Elbow. I so wanted to ride. I was due for a follow up next week. Told the Doc I will see him in December after the race so that nothing will stop me getting down. I'm driving down and leave 2 weeks tomorrow, and counting!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm the old fart with the bald head and the big beard. Usually wearing odd shoes too (;-)>

hey bro, still up for a skate this week. I'm free everyday except Wednesday. Sounds like the munkaes are hectic they felt so good when I tried them with billy. Definately gettin either them or kookies for my next truck when I have a bit more cash and experience under my belt haha.
