yeah, everynow and then i get a group of my mates together and go have a skate sesh near his place. (he lives in Lysterfield near Dandy). I also ride in vermont from time to time and you can hit decent speed there. I remember hitting those hills before i got a dh setup, lots of sketchy fun!

and yeah, you can hit 60 quite easily

hey ching, did they have any more of that type of helmet? and is this motorcycle shop on elizabeth street thats kinda close to MC? How is the visibility and is it overly bulky or anything? Thanks

wasn't really a fan of the other designs so yeah. the guy also have me some hip padding to put under my clothes for free! Thanks for recommending me to this shop, it saved me alot of money!

hey ching, have you made a faceshield for your helmet? i made one last night and i reckon its turned out pretty good. My only complaint is that its not a tinted visor. I used some polycarb from bunnings and attached it with the screws from the previous visor and some velcro. i also heat molded it so that it kinda curved more with the helmet if that makes sense. You should consider making one yourself!

Just saw your question bout ASRA membership - I'm a bit slow sometimes.

ASRA is an incorporated association with the NSW Department of Fair Trading. We have an official membership, our own rules, and have regular meetings (well, at least yearly), and have to publish our finances etc. This allows us to enter into contracts and buy insurance etc. Becoming a member of ASRA allows you to vote at ASRA meetings and therefore influence what ASRA does.

Being a member of the website (as you already are) is more limited - you can talk on the site, but that's all.

yeah it is pretty weird...its handling is definatly different...but its a nice board...very smooth ride...haha what do you ride?

when i looked at it, it seemed like it had like flex 2 but when i got on it its pretty hard with mild flex...yeah hell cats are not as good as the hustler..my mate has one and i didnt really like it..i ues the hustler for hill bombing and im just learning how to slide so i dont know really for sliding but i can do a few tricks and it does well in tricks.

yeah we skate during the week,usually around 9pm onwards.Iv been to Flagstaff Gardens few times,but iv been goin to Fitzroy Gardens latley with a few mates,its a lot bigger and heaps more runs.
We're goin to check out the MCG and Botanical Gardens tonight,apparently theres a few good run in there,come down if ur keen we should be there a few hours,if u dont we'll have to meet up another time.

Gday Ching Total cost ? ask me at bathurst when its finished. To date about 250 hours and a couple of grand with wheels being the largest purchase to date [hubs $ 400pr rims 90-100 each spokes $1;20 each theres 72 of these swiss made babies] I built my mates bike with a $450 bmx bike off the floor using a front hub in the rear and a disc mtb 20mm up front added stem n bars and i have to work really hard to keep with him but he is a little crazy coming from a downhill ski background [canadian champ 07 i think] Im trying to get him into some inlines 4 np09 but he doesnt seem too keen on racing 2 classes there you have it cheers typhoon

R u going to np09?It will be cool to catch up over a couple of beverages etc I own a bike store in SA and have built a couple of gbikes for customers n friends.Be careful as these puppies are like crack once ya ride one theres no going back .Ive raced offshore powerboats[2000 hp] prostock cars [900hp] motorbikes capable of 340 kph [200 hp] etc etc but here i am having the most fun and thrills with 0 hp and a bicycle.I cant stop doing this im addicted .You are welcome to a ride on my gbike anytime as it is a safe ride with no bad manners..One of our guys has spare gbikes he is takin to np09 so nom up n register n ride n represent cheers typhoon. Hope your healing fast buddy those pins r evil.
