for d/h i use my flexdex pro 40 and slalom my flexdex clear 29,
and just cruising and d/h i use my sector 9 off the wall.
went skating in the rain last night,so fun.

Hey there, thanks for your comment about the seals. It's good to see someone do there research. Certain seal species are up in numbers. The New-Zealand fur seal numbers over here in Australia are booming. The only reason there numbers are booming though is because between 1830 and 1836 we DESTROYED the population for the use of oils and skins. The numbers still are not at what they would've been before white settlement therefore they are not at a natrual state so the numbers wont be considered at really booming until the numbers pass what they origianally were. Farming, Aquaculture and other primary industries are an important part of all of our lifes but they are not a part of any sort of natrual balance here on earth. Most marine buisnesses choose to build VERY close to seal colonys with cray fisherman even dropping nets right into the colonys waters where pups learn to swim, fish and play. It is kind of like me trying to set up a Zebra farm right next to a large pack of lions. It is never going to work. Australian Sea Lions (the animal I specialise in) are on the decrease. Severly! At seal bay we lose 5 to 6% of our colony per year. That means in another 20 to 25 years there will be nothing left of Seal Bay. Australia wide we are losing 1 to 4% of the species so in another 80 to 90 years they will cease to exhist at all. The species are endemic to Australia only found in South Australia and some parts of Western Australia. 80% in SA and 20% in WA. Within the next 25 years WA's population will be completely gone which will mean SA will have the only remaining population. The Australian Sea Lion again was nearly hunted to extinction in the 1800's. These animals have an 18 month gestation period (the longest of any seal species in the world). This means that females can only have one pup per 18 months. They also have the highest mortality rate of any seal species in the world with only 1 of 4 pups or 23% surviving. This is a natrual part of a Sea Lions life but then if you add the pressure of plastic bags, nets, hooks, gun toting fisherman (not all fisherman), cigarette butts, Mc'Donalds rubbish, drift wood, Nylon ties, Water bottles, sharp pieces of plastic bois, chip packets, chemicals both in the water and in containers and a thousand more we are quite often looking at 0 of 4 pups surviving. In 1838 we decided to protect this animal because we were worried that we would wipe them out for future generations. In the 1900's we began using the oceans as garbage dumps and killing them anyway. We may aswell be using them for meat and skins if we are going to continue killing them.

As for the Greenies. You have probably heard of all this culling of Kangaroo's that has been happeing recently. The reason our Kangaroo's are becoming such a pest is because we are continuesly demoloshing remnant pieces of vegetation. Picture yourself as a Kangaroo. You wake up one morning and everything from the day before is now a farm. So the only thing you have to eat now is crops. Kangaroo populations are not the problem. people populations are the problem. The Greens (and dont get me wrong I am not there biggest fan) are trying to build areas where both wildlife and people can survive. As for Greens not wanting to backburn, I think you will find it is residents that are against backburning. Anyone involved in the enviroment knows that our country, flora and fauna CANNOT and WILL NOT survive without fire. The problem is that people choose to build houses in the middle of thick scrub, they do not have a fire plan most of the time and most residents will only build ONE exit to there house/property. People who choose to live in these areas do not want to see the area they chose as a pile of burnt out sticks for the next 40 years so they oppose perscription burns (not all, but some). The other problem we have with perscription burns is that there are to many assests in one area and in a place like the Adelaide hills it is ALWAYS windy and would be impossible to control a burn. We cannot make fire breaks around an area because there are houses and propertys everywhere and rightly so people do not want a big bulldozed fire break through there front yard. As both CFS and DEH fire crew I have copped a HUGE amount of abuse from people because we reccomend that they burn the area in which they live. Once a natural fire occurs they are always very happy to see me rock up and change there tune very quickly. The problem in Victoria was not reserves, National parks, Government or SES. It was a combination between poeple opposing perscription burning, being un-prepared for an iminant fire which they were warned about CONTANTLY (same is expected in the Adelaide hills in the next couple of years to come) and of course sick, twisted wankers with matches looking for a kick in life delibratly burning areas.
