I'm thinking of going down to Sutherland carpark tonight for a slide session & bit of slalom. Its late night shopping so i probably wouldn't arrive down there till later.. say 8 - 8:30.

Its pretty fun. Haven't set up cones there yet but its on a gentle slope and the surface is smooth so i reckon it could be a goer.

Hey Fitz, If you still have the Splitfire Truck for sale I'll happily take it off your hands. I've been wanting a new front truck to muck about with for my cut down kick flipper slalom board and upgrade me from the RTX/S I have at the moment. I've nothing to trade but money is usually a good swap!

fitz i got this heavy duty g-bike sitting in my lounge room. You know the one.
I think i'd rather look at it more than the TV. Its tough.
I rode it the other day, handling was a bit sketchy, but after my second ride i realised it was just me. I'm working on coming up with some better handle bars for it. i'll email you pics as things progress.

yeah its total gravity porn, i hope to ride it at newtons and do you proud. After the first weekend of running it with the long neck, i swapped over to the short neck the following weekend and it was a lot smoother.
I notice that a lot of the handle bars face backward on an angle, so we're going to try and fab up some with ados pipe bender. I notice the shock lock mount only fits one size of handle bar, did you have to fab this up or is that how it came?

Hey Fitzy! Good to hear from you. Yeah, torch is definitely the way to go. Someone gave me a pair of Motion gloves and I don't like them as much as my old wrecked homemade gloves. I love DH, wish I could skate right now (currently -11°C and 20cm of snow for today). Happy New Year by the way, wish you tons of riding, sun and no broken bones.

Hey dude. I would of just turned the wheels around but then they ride to close to the board and i get wheel bite. Wheel bite on the front bit where the trucks sit not the side.

Hey fitz did you model the vandemon trucks?

I just started a cad course the other night, i've modelled and animated stuff in cinema 4d but autocad is a pretty cool bit of software once you get in to it.

I'm working on a truck myself, it has been made before, but they never went to commercial production, don't worry they're not like yours, more for luge.
So would you be able to check over my design once it is done, do you have contacts in the cnc world? if you have a contact to get protos done i would be keen.
