thanks. im actually the same guy who commented on your youtube video under the name "crazycarlscars"
i planned to head out to mt barker rd yesterday, but decided not to go cos it was raining.
ah cool sweet.
yeah my setups more than a bit shithouse. i feel like i could snap my deck in half if i cranked a turn hard enough :/
but yeah, once im rich enough, id like to get dedicated DH and bowl/ditch setups, but they'll have to wait.
lol its not too bad, my front ones are pretty effed not sure wats gonna happen, i gotta get a root canal or sumfin ehh. and yeah probs no town but some sox are in order methinks!! lol plus some smash bros etc. yeah nice pics. will have to work on those shots. how was the footage??? i wanna do eagle now!! wooo
I've been thinking about some new footage ideas and going through some colabo stuff it looks like they use a boom. Ive got a heap of thin square metal lying around from some reno's we did that would be perfect to make a 7 or 8m boom for a video camera...
The only problem i've come up with is how to see whats being filmed. I know they have a little TV to view from ordinarily.
Do u have any ideas or input.. Or would you guys use it at all?
anyways have fun
Thanks for the advice man.
One last thing.
In your photos, (Car park Sesh) Which car park is that? I recognise it but cant think which one it is.
Thanks.
yeh man they can use it. also add that i found the bag very handy for traveling overseas as it is very portable due to the amount of straps and ways to carry the thing. so much room for everything and very durable, ive sent it through hell and back and havn't had one problem nor one broken stitch!
Awww thats sweet of you to say haha. Sucks about Bow's ankle, that should have healed up by now!?! Article is almost finished couple of paragraphs to go and she should be done, I'll get it to you as soon as possible (within the next few day)
sweet as, well, im still keen for a skate! i know one fun spot we can hit, a hill climb racing track, couple of k long from memory. not super fast or anything, but has some nice corners and stuff. im hoping to get up there in the next couple of weeks to scope out some new runs!
i havent noticed alot of difference from my zigs, but they sure are fast and sticky, and light too which is nice. id buy em again :D
I run a production facility and we use the red for all kinds of shit ads, docos,im doing two short films next month, but im gagging to get one out for a skate sesh
they are awsome cameras but not for the beginers they are basicly 35 mm film cameras except there aint no film in them, still need all the crew you would on a normal film shoot.
dude im planing on a trip to adelaide after the next conehead cup (fingers crossed) to come skate EOTH and do a full film session... you keen? gee-up the crew... let me know of dates its not confirmed yet but im just throwing it out there
ok well im goin to sth africa for Fair cape and Hot Heels so i'll b there from nov 25th till dec 10th so we'll work around that maybe... i might head up before then
dude im thinkin of flying into adelaide on friday the 7th and get in at about 6 in the evening and then flying home on the sunday at about 5.30pm... is your crew keen to skate that weekend? i havent booked anything yet though im just getting an idea...
dude i completley forgot that we're having an outlaw race in the city in a few weeks, a full on urban assult. should be rad. dates still undecided so im going to have to postpone that trip to adelaide for a little while
i havent tried them on dropthrough boards but i know that those sort of trucks are always better off on a topmount board, because you get better leverage over the trucks, and also coz they have a low profile... The evo is a topmount board just lowered with wedges so that might give you some idea of what i mean. If he wants to get some CNC trucks for a drop-thru board i'd suggest either Jim-Z's or Kahalanis... but seeing as those two cost an arm and a leg i'd then have to suggest Kookies with venom bushings.
every truck will work in every board, just some trucks work better with other board, but the main thing is with CNC trucks, you will never really be able to tell the difference between them all untill you start breakin 70-80k's and throwing yourself into gnarly corners side-by-side with riders and cars....
Yea I read about your little sesh with Pete, sounds good. Yea I know what you mean, I know I'm feeling alot more compfortable now that Jacko has been down and we have moved up that skill level. At the same time though it shows how far behind we are compared to people like Jackson and other racers. K.I is great, had a load of fun with some German backpackers last night at a mates Birthday doo. Going out to catch Turkeys now. Should be a laugh. Have a good one mate, cya soon!
hey bro been reading a bit of the forums your on, a bit hard to keep up.. Ha! Jacko was telling me of all the rad hills you guys ride. So keen to come meet and ride with you guys... Peace man.
Yeah bro it is good to ride with new and good riders, and Jackson is our best at the moment. He rips, he does video, Slalom, Downhill, skate and can talk the talk.... We never know to much, take it all in ... It's Skating and its rad... Peace man..
that cowtounge stuff is pretty good but the Hardcore griptape is wide enough for the Evo and its still rough as shit so that might be your better option.
Let me know whats happening with the trip if you come up, it would be awsome to have you up here. The only prob is organising lifts for everyone to/from the airport coz the QLD fuckers are coming down and dani is coming too and i dont even own a car hahaha so the earlier we figure it out the better
Gday leigh, seen yo were online, thought id drop yo a line, congrats on ya result at moth mate, good result considering the level of competition-awesome,keep rollin and rippin dude, and standin tall for s.a,speak soon!

But is the red jacket featured in your display picture a plain leather jacket or a proper padded etc "leathers" jacket?
Cheers
