hey senors and senoritas I just got rad news and I'm coming down to melbourne in january for the next 4 years of uni. Can't wait to have a few sessions with the melburn crew, I'm spewing I couldn't make it for the moss jam but now I won't have an excuse for not attending

i need a defs yes or no to the idea of a west vic race, it would be closed road 2 hours drive from the cbd and you would be looking at a max rego cost of around 60-70 bucks if you chose to camp over night, place is with in public transport distance (vline) and would happen in the winter school holidays (for the groms) and would ideally be asra sanctioned, i cant promise it this year, but its something i need a verdict on so i can try make it happen this year, it would be in the same points bracket as colingrove from what i understand too
i have hit facebook, i am sussing it out now so i can contact business owners about it, from initial discussions they would be more then happy with having the event in the town and most of the locals that i have spoken to seem to think it would be awesome
hey guys i'm selling my hellcat (older red/white/black graphic with w cave) with paris 195s and orange inheats. wheels are fresh and barely worn in, no coning and the trucks are 1 session young with no scratches. I look after my setups and the board has never been curbed and is in excellent condition (about as good as you will ever find a second hand setup, only slight scratches on the tail from standing on its end). looking around $350 pickup which is about $100 cheaper than buying it new. Park rangers are annoyed at skaters upsetting elderly pedestrians.
Skate it very very early, or after late evenings.
In Melbourne, bicycles, & skating are not ok in "gardens", but are ok in "parks"
Hey guys, anybody know where abouts the ditch is in springvale. Also just picked up my switchblade with bear 852's super reds and monster hawgz. Any suggestions for changing the setup, I have Randall r11 with purple stims for my dervish but open to any suggestions, such as top mounting. Also looking at getting into speedboarding any recomendations on that gear to get.
scot, get a full face and leathers, you have a setup that will take you fast enough to need those. Shane, you can find most of the sunday night rides info here normally starts off at fitzy before moving around the city
Thanks sean any idea how much they would cost and if there is any specific type(motorbike seems to be what people use I'm about 190cm) I Want to come out riding with some of the guys in Melbourne but this weather has to pass, last thing I have monster hawgz 82a 75mm wondering if I should get some zombies instead probably 84a. Do you think a shop would let me trade them, never been used before just out of the box but not in original packaging.
Scott monster hawgs are more for downhill if you wanted to get into downhill I suggest you use the monster hawgs zombies are a freeride wheel better for sliding And I highly doubt any shop would trade and I wouldn't get leathers or a full face until you really need them

Thanks for all the advice guys, not looking at getting into the racing scene just yet but I would like to get prepared for it. I need some nice quiet hills to get my tuck right and drifts ect. Love to go riding with you guys sometime. I might be going into the city on Saturday if you wanna ride some parks I'm up for it. I'm a bit put off since the day I got my dervish nearly got a $250 fine for riding in fitzroy gardens and threatened to get my board taken of me. Anyway I live in belgrave but go riding around berwick and barre warren, so if your more local and want to go for a skate send me a message

In the north there's one next to the freeway, starting near Ormond Rd, it has a channel in the middle though.
There's three I know of in the west, one starts near Denton Ave in St Albans and finishes at Ballarat Road.
One in Laverton North starting at Pipe Rd finishing at the freeway.
And one in Altona North starting at Kororoit Creek Road.
There's also the Spillway at the Melton Reservoir if you don't mind travelling a bit further.
